If you enjoy science or you like to read, I definitely recommend the book, Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself. In this scientific self help book by Dr. Joe Dispenza, you’ll discover explanations for how the way you think affects your overall well being. He really breaks down (scientifically) thinking patterns that we learn overtime and how to undo the negative ones. The book was rated 4.5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads and 5/5 at Barnes and Nobles.
I listed a few quotes I jotted down from back when I read it to give you an idea of the basis of the book.
“You are more than just a physical body. You are a consciousness using a body and a brain to express different levels of mind.”
“All potential experiences exist in the quantum field as a sea of infinite possibilities. When you change your electromagnetic signature (by changing how you think and feel) to match one that already exists in the field, your body will be drawn to that event, you will move into a new line of time, or the event will find you in your new reality.”
“The thoughts we think send an electrical signal out into the field. The feelings we generate magnetically draw events back to us. Together, how we think and feel produces a state of being, which generates an electromagnetic signature that influences every atom in our world. This should prompt us to ask, what am I broadcasting on a daily basis?”
“To change your life is to change your energy-to make an elemental change in your mind and emotions. If you want a new outcome, you will have to break the habit of being yourself, and reinvent a new self.”
“When you hold clear focused thoughts about your purpose, accompanied by your passionate emotional engagement, you broadcast a stronger electromagnetic signal that pulls you toward a potential reality that matches what you want.”
“Thoughts are the language of the brain and feelings are the language of the body.”
“As feelings of the body align to thoughts of a particular state of mind, mind and body are now working together as one. And as you’ll recall, when mind and body are in unison, the end product is called ‘state of being’.”
“Warning: when feelings become the means of thinking, or if we cannot think greater than how we feel, we can never change. To change is to think greater than how we feel. To change is to act greater than the familiarized feelings of the memorized self. It is to be greater than the body.”
“When the body remembers better than the conscious mind, that is, when the body is the mind-that’s called habit.”
“The greatest habit we must break, is the habit of being ourselves.”
